Edgar Franz Linz acts as a liaising platform to facilitate interaction on a discretionary basis between artists, collectors, current and former museum directors, journalists, art consultants, artist agents and carefully selected international art galleries.

Edgar Franz Linz maintains a profile of high confidentiality on the composition of its professional advisory group, its artist representation, collectors and other art professionals it interacts with. The Consultancy Group also acts as art collectors in their own right and occasionally buys works directly from established artists with an international auction house and/or with a museum exhibition track record. EFL also engages in reselling works to private collectors, museums and auction houses. Its main focus is on contemporary figurative surrealism, including works by Neo Rauch, Zumloh, Combas, Peter Doig, Takashi Murakami among others. The advisory services of Edgar Franz Linz are fee and/or commission based, and are agreed as per specific situation, predefined need or purpose.
